Fall Semester Wrap-Up
The theme of the fall semester was inconsistency as the team went 10-12 overall with a 7-7 league record. However, the Badgers still hold a 4th place spot in the WCCHA (with a few games on hand). The league has shown its depth as the majority teams are hovering around .500 win percentage.
Some memorable weekends include a split with 11-4 Eau Clair and a sweep over North Dakota. Not only did the Badgers get two wins in Grand Forks, but also enjoyed the 9 hour trip on a coach bus. Most recently, the Badgers traveled to Minnesota and played at Mariucci Arena. Two losses and a snowstorm on the ride home Saturday night made this a tougher trip.
Results aside, the team had a whole lot of fun and are looking forward to the spring semester.
